Radicchio and Haricot Vert Salad with Candied Walnuts

What to do when life hands you some radicchio and...well...you don't particularly like it?  Check out this recipe for radicchio and haricot vert salad with candied walnuts over at Marcus Samuelsson's blog and I guarantee you'll be eating it (and loving it) before you know it!

  18. I love nuts in salad - I find they add so much particularly if they've been candified :) it would also be a nice counterbalance to the occasional bitterness of radichhio - very nice!

  25. I am a sucker for anything with candied walnuts. Heck, that's definitely a way to make picky eaters gorge on some veggies -- just shower them with these sweet, crunchy, addicting nuts.

  28. I'm not a big fan of radicchio. I never found a way to serve it that took the bitterness out. This looks good enough that I would consider trying. Beautiful salad.
