A hearty wintry dish that tastes a little bit like summer? I think we could all use some of that. Check out my post and the recipe on Marcus Samuelsson's blog!
Hey Joanne! I just got back from vacation and am catching up on my blog reading! I love new spins on baked bean dishes and this one looks delish -- I'm off to check out your recipe now!
Oh, yum! Those speckled limas are one of my favorite beans. I had to laugh at your comment on my blog about the two desserts and one salad. Didn't even realize! That's how the cards fell this week!
woman! do you ever sleep? or do you just go to the grocery store, come home, cook, post, then run marathons? send me your energy. i'll pay you in fattening treats.
I've heard of Boston Baked beans, but never one hailing from the great country of Greece. You are a culinary genius Joanne. I love you and all your wonderfully delightful creations. I can't wait to give these a try. Perhaps they should be a part of my Super Bowl party menu. I think everyone will be giving their compliments to the chef, of which I will pass along the love to you :)
Now, that definitely beats the usual baked beans coated in way too much molasses and brown sugar. I'll take yours over that kind any day of the week. ;)
I dropped by Marcus' blog to check out the full recipe, but can I just say: these baked beans are stunning! I have featured your post in today's Friday Food Fetish roundup. Let me know if you have any objections and thanks for the inspiration...
