Oh I'm loving this combination of ingredients!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the bright green spinach peeking out from underneath :) I'm a big fan of fennel too. What a great way to incorporate it!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty salad! Yum!
ReplyDeleteI also can’t handle raw fennel, but LOVE cooked fennel! Pretty salad!

I love this salad! So refreshing and pretty!
ReplyDeletePerfect lunch for school!
ReplyDeleteI agree--cooked fennel is much better than raw, and I'm sure it is delicious in this great looking salad.
ReplyDeleteNever thought of pairing fennel with pomegranate, great idea and what a pretty combination. I too dislike raw fennel.
ReplyDeleteThis salad is colorful and pretty! I keep buying pomegrante airls and I have to keep throwing them out. I have all the best intentions of using them, but I never do, so stupid! I had fennel for the first time this fall, and I love it, tastes like black licorice, but my family didn't care for it. I'm book marking this recipe so I can make a big batch for lunches!
ReplyDeleteLove everything about this salad!
ReplyDeletecould you please make me lunch (and dinner... and dessert) every day? I'm loving your recent veggie-full concoctions!!
ReplyDeleteI could just gobble up every single bite... it looks so good!
ReplyDeleteYour mom cracks me up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this--I want to eat quinoa more often but only know 2-3 dishes for it.
Very healthy choice. I am currently on diet so I appreciate such posts. Excellent provider of vitamins!
ReplyDeleteThat is a salad I'd love to bite into for lunch. What a fun flavor combination of tart and savory.
ReplyDeleteI love the addition of the tarty pomegranate flavor. So good and fennel? Genius
ReplyDeleteQuinoa is my new favourite ingredient. I'm cooking with it all the time. I think it works really well in salads. Your salad is so pretty with the pomegranate seeds. They give such a vibrant colour to the salad. I will make this!
ReplyDeleteWould you believe I actually cooked quinoa for the first time last week? I've eaten before but never made it myself. I made a pilaf recipe from the package and it was delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love fennel in salads. This looks wonderful.
This is so attractive, almost like a work of art. Not quite too beautiful to eat because I definitely would!
ReplyDeleteMore Italian. Love it! haha :). Beautiful salad!
ReplyDeleteI have never had raw fennel before. We usually grill it. The salad looks beautiful, Joanne. I'm off to get the recipe.
ReplyDeleteI love how the pomegranate sets the quinoa ablaze... gorgeous! The fennel providing the perfect textural contrast. Great salad Joanne.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful combo! Looks fabulous...
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous looking salad. I bet it's delicious. I keep saying I need to make more salad recipes.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd ever thrown those three ingredients together on my own. Good thing I've got you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique combination of ingredients! I almost never cook with fennel in the first place, and certainly wouldn't have thought to pair it with pomegranate. Sounds like an excellent winter dish, though, especially with that quinoa. Who doesn't like quinoa, after all?
ReplyDeleteI love how fennel adds a dynamic flavor to almost anything it's put in. The pomegranate adds a nice pop and color.
ReplyDeleteDear Joanne, I would love a big bowl of this right now!!!!! Blessings my dear one, Catherine xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination of foods! Quinoa goes so well with so many things. Hope you are having a good week.
ReplyDeletegreat combo of flavors...I love fennel
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, this salad is just screaming my name! Yummers! :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so flavourful with the fennel and pomegranate! Interesting to know that fennel is used as a palate cleanser.
ReplyDeleteHad fennel at Craft Steak in Vegas last year. Yeah...it was not my favorite either but it was raw.
ReplyDeleteSo many great ingredients in one salad. Love the combination of the fennel and the pomegranate--yum! Thanks for sharing it with Souper Sundays. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou've reminded me that I haven't made quinoa in awhile and I definitely should. Looks delish!
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely delightful Joanna :)
