My mind is officially blown. These look incredible. And I have a thing of za'atar in my cabinet! Now I just need it to be 70 degrees out so we can enjoy some margaritas with them.
i'd like you to be my live-in chef so I always eat my veggies. This looks wonderful. Love that you use zatar- one of my favorite spices from my childhood :)
These look awesome. I love za'atar with anything. And I bet the mixture would also be awesome with an egg on top, which is precisely what I plan on doing soon. :)
You've made me miss my grandmothers home (she si from a little known town in India called Jamalpur) with all that photo talk about Swiss chard. We have sooo many acres of swiss chard and pepper plantations in our back yard in Jamalpur, it's amazing.I wish i knew the recipe back then..we would be making it everyday.
On my list of spices to try! Have you gotten an endorsement from the Swiss chard people--I have only had one failed attempt cooking with chard, but you've made me want to hazard another go with it...
Hi lovely. What a fun and different twist. Ryan and I eat tacos all the time (probably more than we should!) So I will be excited to share this recipe with him soon. Thank you for sharing, sweet thing!
Ok, maybe I'm a bit biased being a Middle Eastern food blogger... but I love these flavors. Aleppo pepper has such an incredible aroma and yet is so underused in cooking. Awesome job working it into tacos! If this heat wave ever settles our chard will be on its way to growing soon. Bookmarking this :)
Those look amazing. I adore za'atar. Thanks to Yasmeen over there who turned me on to that wonderful flavor. I'm off to find out about aleppo pepper now. I love finding new things to eat.
you think you can just put anything in a tortilla and call it a taco, don't you! my goodness, you're creative, and this particular concoction sounds terrific!
