Recipe: Carrot Cake Ice Cream


IMG_3071 August may be almost over but that means we just have to stuff as much ice cream into the next few weeks as is physically possible!  To help us do that, Brandy over at Nutmeg Nanny has been hosting an Ice Cream Social!  Two weeks of absurdly delectable ice cream concoctions. I know, right?

I was absolutely THRILLED when she asked me to participate and just knew I had to come up with something ridiculous to contribute.  Enter this carrot cake ice cream!!! Because what better way is there to enjoy your favorite cake than in ice cream form?  For the recipe, check out my post!

  5. I just love your ice cream photo - ice cream never looked so good! And the cake sounds rather good too - interesting that cinnamon is used more in America than europe - I go on and off it but you can definitely use too much

  33. Oh my goodness. I actually went to this place that sold 218 different types of ice cream (some were really weird like garlic or wasabi) and they didn't have this? I would have chosen this hands down. This sounds terrific!

  58. i was just thinking about how i want to make carrot cake ice cream (seriously!) bc a nearby custard place had a carrot cake concrete that was mediocre at best---now i don't have to search for my recipe :)
